The Columbus Fireman’s Park Complex includes: the historic hand-built Pavilion, the Rest Haven, a resting place for travelers, the Boy Scouts Cabin, athletic field, abd acuatic center. Two gates in Fireman’s Park in Columbus, Wisconsin, United States. Established as a city park in 1915 by the fire department, the park’s pavilion opened in 1917, hosting community dances and various events. Rest Haven, a Prairie School designed by Alfred C. Clas, opened in 1923, serving auto tourists with cooking and sanitation. The park’s west wall and gate were built in 1917 and are part of the historic site.
